Eli Saikaley, owner of Friendly’s has been working in the restaurant industry for over 20 years. As a little boy, his dream was to follow in his father’s footsteps and run his own restaurant. In March 2000, Eli and his family expanded Friendly Restaurant to Rockland from its original location in Orleans. In April 2004, his wife Dounia expanded into Pano’s Breakfast right across from Friendly’s, located on Laurier street in the heart of Rockland.

With both families having a history in the restaurant industry, cooking is second nature to both Eli and Dounia. We strive to make our family restaurant a second home to our clients and at the same time enjoy homemade comfort food with a little of something for everyone. We also offer takeout and delivery so even if you can’t come in which is hard for busy families you could still have our great food delivered to you! Eli is proud to have merged his business with his wife in 2010. Today you will still see us, Eli, Dounia and Denise at our family restaurant waiting to greet our valued clients. We stand proud to be operating a successful family restaurant in a family community and hope to provide you with a great visit.
